Courses are consistent with:
- Commission onPeace Officer Standards and Training (POST)
- California Code of Regulations, Division 9, Title 22, Chapter 1.5
- California Penal Code Section 13518
- Blood borne Pathogens and Aerosol Transmissible Disease courses as required by OSHA
We are an approved POST provider and will complete all of the required documentation in the POST EDI system! However, if your agency prefers to handle the paperwork and obtain your own course control number, we will provide your agency with documentation needed for entry into the system including:
- Expanded course outline
- Hourly timeline
- POST Instructor resume
Instructors meet the current POST requirement to conduct training and have police officer field experience. Our company currently conducts this training for law enforcement agencies in California and is proud to tailor this course for working officers. We meet or exceed all insurance requirements for municipalities and will supply copies of professional & general liability insurance, W9 and other requirements as requested.
Local Expertise: Our company is comprised of local experts with years of experience in the field of public service and emergency medicine. Our lead instructor currently teaches this material in the POST basic police academy. We are familiar with your local regulations and EMSA treatment guidelines. Our Chief Medical Officer currently works as a board certified emergency physician in our local trauma center.
